According to the “Best Education School Rankings” from the 2020 U.S. News & World Report, Boise State University’s College of Education is ranked in the top 30 of public universities. When the rankings are listed according to regional areas, Boise State’s College of Education is in the top 3 for both the Intermountain West and the Northwest.
Boise State Teacher Education programs are designed to promote the continual development of teachers with an emphasis on increasing P-12 student learning.
The college includes five academic departments with programs from undergraduate to doctoral, and faculty specializing in teaching, clinical practice and research.
