As many Teacher Education graduates know, during their student teaching semester, students work full-time in a P-12 classroom setting and are unable to work at other employment. This can cause financial hardship to those striving to become our next generation of teachers.
Giving Day Kick Off
Bronco Giving Day kicks off at midnight on Thursday, March 2, and the College of Education will be focusing on student teacher scholarships AND a $25,000 for 25 gifts of any amount match has been generously pledged by an anonymous donor!
Student teacher scholarships ease students’ financial burden as they prepare to become teachers. Alongside alumni and friends of Boise State from across the country, join us in showing your Bronco pride with a contribution in support of the university and its students, and promoting our culture of philanthropy. We are set up to take gifts now, and look for more matches and challenges during the March 2-3 event.
