Apply to our master in Early and Special Education programs by March 1

Our 100% online master programs in Early and Special Education can get you certified, boost your career trajectory and develop you as a leader in early childhood and special education. Applications for the following programs are due March 1, 2023 and scholarships are available!

  • Master in Teaching in Early and Special Education – leads to Idaho certification in K-12 Special Education: Exceptional Child Generalist K-12 or P-8 Special Education: Exceptional Child Generalist K-8 with an Early Childhood Special Education endorsement. Scholarships are available for this program through IdahoSTARS.
  • Master of Education in Early and Special Education – non-certification program offering enhanced professional development in early childhood intervention and special education for those who work in schools or agencies. Scholarships are available for this program through IdahoSTARS.
  • Master of Education in Early and Special Education, Emerging Leaders Pathway – The Emerging Leaders program offers a unique pathway through the MEd in Early and Special Education program with a focus on early childhood education, leadership in the field, and applied action research. Find out more about this unique program in a recent story featuring Hannah Sharpe, a current student in the program who works at Head Start in Twin Falls. Students admitted to the Emerging Leaders pathway receive scholarship funding through IdahoSTARS.
