Counselor education graduate student Sherise Porchia wins audience choice award at 3MT competition

Sherise Porchia, MA Counseling candidate, won the audience choice award at the Graduate Student Success Center’s annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition February 5th. Porchia presented her thesis Parents are the Solution: Acceptability of an Online Parent-Based Alcohol Intervention for High School Students.

The 3MT competition challenges graduate students to present their thesis or dissertation topic in three minutes or less, including only one slide. Porchia’s thesis recently took second place at the Idaho Counseling Association Conference.
