Executive Educational Leadership graduate named superintendent for Cambridge school district

Congratulations to Anthony Butler, who was selected as the new superintendent for Cambridge School District while he was studying in the Executive Educational Leadership program at Boise State. Butler was one of two finalists after a search was conducted by the Idaho School Boards Association for the position.

Butler was hired directly from the classroom as a math teacher in Nampa to the superintendent role in Cambridge in the spring of 2019. Applicants to the EdS program do not need to be administrators – they can be teacher leaders with a master’s degree with a desire to study systems leadership.
