Lauren Hunt who is currently working under the direction of Dr. Vicken Hillis in the Human-Environment Systems (HES) group has received one of just two National Science to Action Fellowships given by the United State Geological Survey. This award will allow Lauren to create a social-ecological vulnerability mapping tool to inform policy and improve climate change adaptation in the West.
