Boise State Esports partners with USO for Florida event

Boise State Esports recently partnered with the USO to host the 3rd annual USO Commerders Cup at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The tournament took place all-day Saturdary, May 13th.  Teams from all six branches of the military competed in a Rocket League tournament at the base’s esports recreation facility.

Many were expecting US Army Esports and Air Force Gaming to be the top two teams in the tournament. US Army Esports won the tournament the past two years, while Air Force gaming had a strong roster and tons of home team support. Both teams made it to the grand finals of the tournament for a best of 7 match. Air Force Gaming won the tournament overall and took home the trophy for the first time in the tournaments history.
