The 2024 Juried Exhibition will showcase artistic techniques and innovative media to communicate scientific and technological data and concepts. Entries will be evaluated on conceptual rigor, aesthetic criteria, and the work’s ability to communicate a scientific topic effectively. Partner or group work is encouraged, especially teams with complementary skill sets (e.g., art majors paired with science majors).
The award ceremony will take place on May 24, 2024, at the Center for the Visual Arts and feature scientific seminars for the general public and a light reception. The digital entries will be visualized in The Keith and Catherine Stein Luminary where the public is invited to interact, browse, and zoom in on the entries. Following the ceremony, physical entries will be temporarily displayed in a central campus location for the Boise State community and the public to enjoy.
