Feed the Funnel is a “party with a purpose.” Volunteers man assembly lines to “feed the funnel” filling meal packets with raw ingredients. Each packet contains enough rice, beans, spice and dried vegetables for six meals and has a 12-month shelf life. The goal is to pack 100,000 meals, which are distributed to Boise State’s Campus Food Pantry and other food pantries in the Treasure Valley.
Interested in contributing to the fundraiser? $3.50 purchases 10 meals so every donation, small and large, contributes to putting food on the shelves at local food pantries, including the Boise State Campus Food Pantry which serves 5,000 students each month. The hope is to raise $40,000 to pay for the raw ingredients and overhead.
