Michael Munger – Spriggs Family Lecture Series

Join us to hear Michael Munger, the 2024 Spriggs Family Lecturer, as he presents “Is Capitalism Sustainable?”  The event is in the Jordan Ballroom, SUB at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February 5. The lecture is free (no ticket required) and open to the public. Parking for this event is free in the Lincoln Garage.

Munger is a professor of political science and director of the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Program at Duke University. He is also a research fellow at the Law and Economics Center of George Mason University and a senior fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research.

His research interests include the study of the morality of exchange and the working of the new “Middleman Economy.” Much of his recent work has been in philosophy, examining the concept of truly voluntary exchange, a concept for which he coined the term “euvoluntary.”
