Student and Family Stone Memento Painting

Campus Operations, in collaboration with students and University Affairs, is renovating a space on campus to create a new gathering place between Riverfront Hall and SMASH; this new space will be open to all students and faculty. To celebrate the renovation of this outdoor arts space, we are repurposing the stones before renovation (to keep them from going in the dump). Come spend some time with your friends and families and cover stones with paint, fabric, and papers. Your creations will be used in the first installation of art when the project is completed in 2024. Leave your mark and make a stone memento with us. All materials will be provided–stones (large and small), paints and brushes, decoupage, inks and papers. Come learn some new techniques or practice some you already know. Only a sense of play is required. All students and their families are welcome.
