Wesley Capps

Wesley is a Boise State student majoring in Psychology with a minor in Communication. The Gap Year program offered what he described as “a breather in my education” and an opportunity to “gain a more tangible understanding of where I want my education to lead.”

For his Bronco Gap Year project, Wesley worked with his faculty mentor to set up the rest of his undergraduate semesters to be optimized for graduate school preparation. He also developed his leadership skills by organizing a 5K race for charity.

“Through the program, I was able to see a clearer path for how to achieve the goals I have for my education, and I’m now aware of different resources I can use to get ahead.”
