Violence Prevention

The Gender Equity Center is committed to working with the Boise State and larger community to stop violence before it starts.  Together we can prevent violence by promoting and practicing healthy relationships, consent, bystander intervention, and supporting the equality of all people. This practice manifests in workshops and events that help raise awareness about healthy relationships and the ways bystanders can speak up or act as well as in the support services we provide for victims, friends, and family members – respecting victims through support is an important part of changing our culture.
