Support Services

Gender Equity Center is committed to serving the Boise State University campus community. We provide no-cost, confidential support services to Boise State students, faculty and staff. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, trauma-informed and survivor-centered care. 

Our Licensed Master Social Workers can support campus members impacted by a number of different issues, including but not limited to: 

  • Sexual assault, including unwanted sexual contact
  • Domestic violence, including roommate violence, family abuse, childhood sexual abuse and witnessing abuse
  • Dating violence, including reproductive coercion
  • Stalking and unwanted sharing of personal images
  • LGBTQIA+ identity, including coming out, transitioning and finding community 
  • Academic concerns, including difficult interactions with faculty or peers
  • Identity-based harassment and discrimination

We meet with students, staff and faculty members. Not a campus member? Concerned about someone you know? We can still provide resources and referrals. If you’re interested in reporting to campus officials or police, we can guide you through the process.
