GIMM students and faculty have been receiving well-deserved recognition for their campus and community engagement!

“Microchip Makers VR” Wins International Serious Play Award

Boise State is proud to announce that Microchip Makers VR, created by Konner Pierce and other members of the GIMM development team, have been recognized in the International Serious Play Awards in the Digital Serious Games category for both Professional and Student entries.

The judges praised Microchip Makers VR for its innovation and effectiveness in serious game design, awarding it a top honor among this year’s competitive entries. The recognition highlights the creative excellence and educational impact of Konner’s work.

Official announcements will be made at the upcoming Serious Play Conference, after which an award icon will be shared for public promotion. Winners will also be listed on the Serious Play website, and are eligible to receive a formal trophy and free conference registration.
