Originally from Vancouver, Washington, Ally is a senior marketing major in the College of Business and Economics and a 2022 Top 10 Scholar awardee. Orr’s senior year at Boise State included more than just her required coursework. Through her efforts, she created a new endowed scholarship and raised awareness for Boise State women studying STEM, medicine, and law. Ally’s efforts earned her the University’s Inclusive Excellence Award, showing how one person can make a significant difference in the lives of others through actions that promote positive outcomes.

Ally comes from a long line of Bronco donors who believe in the power of education and support for all students to achieve success. She is the niece of Lori Orr Hays ’83, whose memorial scholarship, highlights the impact of the scholarship established by her uncle, James Hays ’86.
