Fulbright Scholar Program

The Fulbright Scholar Program, administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) on behalf of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, provides opportunities for U.S. faculty and professionals to lecture, conduct research, and engage in professional development activities in 140 countries around the world.

CIES also brings scholars and professionals from around the world to the U.S. As the U.S. government’s flagship academic exchange effort, the Fulbright Scholar Program offers quality opportunities for Boise State faculty to gain and/or enhance their international expertise. Departments who wish to host an international scholar to internationalize their curriculum are encouraged to consider Fulbright. The following website provides more information: http://www.cies.org/.

Fulbright Canada’s website (www.fulbright.ca) offers comprehensive information about all of their programs, as well as direct contact information for the officer responsible for each program.
