Direct exchange

Direct exchanges allow students to enroll as a full-time visiting student at a university abroad. Eligibility for certain sites may be limited by major or language background. Students who participate in a direct exchange program pay tuition to Boise State, but pay their living expenses abroad. View direct exchange partner universities in the next section.

ISEP

Students who participate in ISEP  pay Boise State tuition and  program fee that covers housing and meals to Boise State.  You will need to apply to Global Learning  and apply to ISEP.  Explore programs here!

National Student Exchange

Study on exchange in the US, Canada, or other US territories. Pay your Boise State tuition or the in state tuition of the host campus.

Global Classroom Programs

Study abroad for a short period of time with a Boise State faculty leader. View faculty led programs in the next section.

USAC and provider programs

Many students choose to study abroad through USAC or one of the other program providers with which Boise State is affiliated.  These organizations offer programs for nearly any major in a wide variety of countries.  Students who attend these programs pay tuition and program fees to the program providers, rather than to Boise State.  To search for USAC or other programs, set up an account on ViaTRM, our program search engine.

International internships

International internships are a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a field related to your major in a diverse cultural environment. Not only do international internships allow students to experience a professional workplace, but they also allow students to learn about a new country, and culture while abroad. Our program providers provide internships worldwide in varying fields. Below are several of our most popular international internship providers.
