Are you an international student planning to apply for an F-1 Student Visa or who already has an F-1 visa and is planning to transfer to the Intensive English Program?

If you would like to study as a full-time student in the Intensive English Program, you will need a student visa. After you submit your application form, documents, and payment, your application will be reviewed. Once you are accepted, the IEP will send your I-20 and other essential program information.

To apply online:

• Collect the following documents:
  • • Official Financial Support Statement from your bank, sponsor, or guardian certifying that you have sufficient funds available for your studies at Boise State University
    • Passport Copy of the identity page of your passport, showing your photo and full name
    • English proficiency written task: please download instructions HERE (Word format, will download) or HERE (pdf, will open in new tab) and complete the assessment. Upload with passport and financial documents
• Complete the Application Form (International Students).
  • • Please note you will be required to upload a copy of your passport, your financial document, and the written English proficiency task. Please have these documents ready to submit before you start to complete the online application.
• Pay the $100 Non-Refundable Application Fee.

We need to receive your application materials in time to issue you an I-20 visa form.

Remember: It can take several weeks to receive your student visa!
