Comprehensive Review

You have received a request for more information from Boise State because you have not yet met our automatic admissions requirements. The Comprehensive Review process allows us to learn more about you as a potential Boise State student and to better understand your potential to be successful at Boise State. Please review the information below carefully in order to fully understand how to continue your steps toward becoming a Boise State student.

Next Steps

If you choose to participate in the Comprehensive Review Process, you will need to provide the following to the International Admissions Office:

  1. Submit a Comprehensive Review Response.
  2. Submit two letters of recommendation at the link above. Letters of recommendation may come from teachers, counselors, coaches, work supervisors, or others who know you and the quality of your work well. They should not come from family members. Recommendation letters should be submitted in English or accompanied by a certified English translation.
  3. If available, submit any updated academic transcripts that show any new academic work that you have not shared with Boise State yet. These transcripts should be sent as official documents and accompanied by English translations if not originally issued in English.

In order to continue our review of your application for admission, your Comprehensive Review response and supporting documents must be received by:

December 1st: Spring Semester Applicants

July 15th: Fall Semester Applicants

The sooner your materials are received, the sooner we will be able to respond with an admissions decision.

If you choose not to complete the Comprehensive Review process, you will not be admissible to Boise State University.
