What To Expect When You Apply

Searching for information about the graduate admission application process? Use the resources below to walk you through the application process and what to expect.

Before You Apply

  1. Decide which program you will be submitting an application to: view Boise State graduate degree programs.
  2. Contact your program! Figure out when the necessary deadlines are and ensure that you’ll have enough to submit all the required material before those deadlines.

What You’ll Need When You Apply

All official transcripts need to be sent to Boise State University Graduate College.

Note: you will not be able to upload program materials (letters of intent, resumes/CVs, background checks, and test scores) until the application has been paid for and submitted. Once the application fee has been paid, several new links appear within your application portal.

Depending on the program, you may need:

    • Resume/CV
    • Letter of Intent/Cover Letter
    • GRE or other test scores
