National Book Foundation Science + Literature Series: Reading & Discussion with Xiaowei Wang in conversation with Joe Fassler--April 12
Courtesy of the National Book Foundation and the Science+Literature series, Xiaowei Wang will be visiting for a reading and discussion on Wednesday, April 12th at 7pm at SUB building, room: Simplot A/D. Their book is Blockchain Chicken Farm and Other Stories in China’s Countryside. It looks at tech changes in rural China and questions of freedom and surveillance. The discussion is in conversation with writer Joe Fassler.

Writing for Change Journal with the Idaho Sierra Club--Launch of Collection Four: Climate Change
Help celebrate the launch of our fourth full collection at the end of April!
This event is focused on the launch of the fourth collection for the Writing for Change Journal, this time focused on climate change. This event is in collaboration with our local chapter of the Sierra Club. There will be readings from the collection in addition to a screening of a short film from the Climate Mental Health Network, Gen Z: C
