Fall 2020 – HLTH 497 Global Women’s Health
Mondays, 4:30-7:15 p.m. Open to all majors. No prerequisites.
This seminar-style course provides an introduction to factors influencing and impacting women’s health across their lifespans. This course incorporates the intersection of the birthplace, culture, gender, socioeconomic status, ability, etc. to analyze the health status of women globally. Students will have the opportunity to research and apply methods of inquiry to evaluate and advocate for improved women’s health.
