Available Student Position for Animal Care at Boise State!

The Office of Research Compliance (ORC) in the Division of Research Economic Development is seeking interested applicants for a student assistant in our animal care program. Boise State University’s Office of Research Compliance provides assistance to faculty, staff and students conducting research, and certain areas of instruction, for compliance with federal, state and local regulations involving human subjects, animal care, and use, biosafety, responsible conduct of research, and drones.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with daily animal husbandry and care tasks
  • Keep detailed records on animal care tasks and maintenance activities
  • Clean and sanitize facilities and equipment
  • Perform other office duties as assigned

ORC needs someone who reliable, customer service oriented, and organized with strong attention to
detail. This position will interact with faculty, staff, and students on a professional level.

This position can work up to 20 hours per week. The successful candidate must be proficient with
Microsoft Office Suite; be able to multi-task; establish work priorities; and perform assigned tasks with minimal oversight.

Preference will be given to students seeking year-round employment. This position is non-work study and work study eligible.
