Sharon Gilchrist, Academic Advisor

Sharon has worked in higher education for more than twenty years.  Most of the years have been working in financial aid and student support services. She has worked across several sectors in higher education from private colleges, public 4 year universities and 15 years serving students in the California Community College system. Her most recent experience has been  with Boise State Financial Aid and Scholarships working with at- risk students.   Sharon is also an alumni at Boise State University.   She is passionate about helping students explore and develop their strengths and passions  while pursuing their educational goals and dreams. Outside of Boise State, you will find her in the Boise foothills hiking with her friends and family, gardening at home and in her local  community gardens,  or hanging with her two dogs, Frankie and Luna.
