Each year, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation invites applications for Health Policy Fellows. Talented health professionals from across the nation are selected to participate in, what many consider one of the most prestigious fellowship opportunities. This esteemed program allows midcareer health professionals the opportunity to spend a year in Washington D.C., where they are closely involved with an assignment in a congressional office or the executive branch. The fellows also learn valuable health policy leadership, media training, and given the rare opportunity to participate in policy issues at the national level.
