NSF Program Director Giving Free Workshop at Boise State

The National Science Foundation Director, Yvette Pearson Weatherton, is providing a free workshop at Boise State entitled “National Science Foundation Proposal Writing Strategies and Funding Opportunities”. Scheduled to be held in the Student Union Building Lookout Room, this workshop will take place on Monday, October 27th in two identical sessions from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and again from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Prospective Principal Investigators will gain an overview of strategies to enhance the quality of proposals submitted to various funding opportunities at the National Science Foundation. In collaboration with the National Science Foundation, Boise State is hosting this event to be interactive, with activities related to key elements of competitive proposals such as objectives, outcomes, rationale, evaluation, and effectively addressing merit review criteria.
