presented by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI)

PCORI was created as a funder of medical research through the Affordable Care Act. Unlike many funders, PCORI is a non-profit, non-governmental, institute and does not follow 2 CFR 200. PCORI issues contracts vs. grants and has some unique application and award requirements. Before applying it is important that administrations understand the application process and what to expect if issued a contract.

This workshop walks administrators through the entire life-cycle including PCORI’s legislation, current funding opportunities, application process and how to navigate the PCORI online system, how to include patients and stakeholders as part of the research team, allowable and unallowable costs, post-award requirements, and award closeout. With over $1.25 billion to fund in the next three years, this session helps administrators submit and manage responsive applications.

This FREE workshop is brought to you by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Institute in Washington, DC.
