Work done by Dr. Ed Baker, director of the Center for Health Policy, was featured in a five-minute piece on Wyoming NPR. Baker and a colleague who is doing a family medical residency utilize their tool “Apgar” to help with the recruitment and retention of physicians in rural frontier states. Their work is taking place in several states, including Wyoming and Idaho.
