Olga Salinas Presents on Advisers Role in Students’ Success in Their Educational Journey

Olga Salinas, MPA, was a presenter at the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) Region Eight Conference in Portland, Ore. Her presentation, titled “Creating a Foundation for Student Success,” addressed the role of Professional Advisers as facilitators in transformational learning experiences that prepare students for their educational journey progression past barriers towards the achievement of educational, personal, and career goals. NACADA promotes excellence in academic advising in institutions of higher education, and supports efforts to address student development through research, education, and the sharing of best practices among the over 10,000 professional members across 50 states, Puerto Rico, Canada and several international schools.
