Screen legend Maureen O’Hara launched her campaign against elder abuse at a 93rd birthday dinner and benefit auction at the Grove Hotel in Boise on Aug. 17. Net proceeds from the celebration were donated to JAVA to promote its mission of ensuring dignity, safety and quality of life for all adults.
Mary Holden, JAVA coordinator and community liaison for the Center for the Study of Aging, Sarah Toevs, director of the Center for the Study of Aging, and Dee Childers, JAVA advocate and owner of Life Changes, proudly display the $10,000 donation check.
