I choose social work to support mental health care for all.

Boise State was named as the best master’s of social work (MSW) program in Idaho, as well as being highly competitive nationally in terms of affordability and online flexibility, according to the top 2019 best social work programs as ranked by Human Services Education, a resource for students and professionals looking to begin or advance careers in human services.

The organization assessed hundreds of schools throughout the nation to find MSW programs that are “the best of the best” and reviewed graduate programs that have received specialized accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education.

Human Services Education praises the Boise State program for its “strong foundational curriculum rooted in ethics, human development studies, and research practices.” It also gives students “a deep understanding of the theory of social work, and interesting and challenging field work placements give you an opportunity to exercise those theories in real-world practice.”
