Communications and Marketing Team

Communications and marketing are essential to student recruitment, student success, and employee success and satisfaction. The COHS Communications Team is a collaboration between Dean’s Office staff and student employees, communicators and marketers in our units, faculty and staff. We network with other university communicators and marketers to get the best opportunities and placement for our stories and other work.

We employ skilled student employees, including student photographers, videographers, social media managers, web editors, graphic designers and more. Students interested in a job, should search Boise State’s Handshake for postings. Our student team is a win-win for the college and the students. The college gets insight into our student audience, creativity and project ideas and students can earn money while enhancing their skill sets, boosting their resumes and portfolios, and working closely with a dedicated team that offers encouragement, support, and great networking opportunities.

What we do:

  • Storytelling
  • Social Media
  • Photography
  • Videography
  • Graphic Design
  • Website Management and Maintenance
  • Accessibility Compliance
  • HTML email design and guidance

Marketing support is limited at this time, but we can help you create stories, fliers, graphics, photos and videos for marketing use and we can help promote your program or event on our social media accounts.

Hi! My name is Anabel, though I typically go by Ann. I’m currently in my second year at Boise State, and I’m a Philosophy major hoping to work in Bioethics or agricultural ethics. I’ve always known that I would attend Boise State, and it’s been an amazing experience so far! When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy listening to hard rock and metal, sewing, and spending time with my friends and family.
