Marketing Submission Form
This form is intended to be used by departments, organizations, and groups wishing to request the posting of promotional and marketing materials on our digital screens to on-campus residents. Please note:
Housing and Residence Life takes an extremely stringent and intentional approach to regulate marketing materials within our halls. This approach is intended to limit clutter in the halls and create a clean, well-maintained living space. Residents have directly and routinely expressed to us that they do not desire an overwhelming number of marketing materials in their homes and our approval process reflects our respect for that preference.
To be approved, marketing materials must be relevant to and offer an immediate benefit to our residents.
We do NOT accept any requests from commercial entities to distribute flyers, brochures, coupons, catalogs, etc., to residents for paid services external to Boise State University.
We do NOT distribute materials advertising vacant positions or hiring opportunities to our residents. Student hiring is conducted via the Boise State Career Center and we encourage residents seeking employment to review posted vacancies in Handshake, Boise State’s student job portal.
While we will consider the marketing of academic opportunities and campus resources, preference is given to those coordinated and/or requested BY residents and we limit the number of physical materials we post at one time related to these opportunities.
We only display electronic materials (those displayed on screens in the residence halls) this maximum period is four (4) weeks. These periods may fluctuate based on the volume of marketing requests HRL is receiving during the given period.
All marketing materials must meet Boise State University Brand Standards. HRL does not provide graphic design services to revise submitted marketing materials and requests that are not brand-compliant will be rejected.
