International Business BBA

  1. Graduates will achieve COBE common core goals.
  2. Graduates will develop a ‘global mindset’ that demonstrates a greater understanding of history, politics, economics, geography and culture and the ethical and sustainability issues of global exchange.
  3. Graduates will demonstrate an understanding of components of international business and strategy (e.g., foreign exchange, trade theories, investment, marketing, staffing, legal issues, operations) and implications for business firms in terms of how the global environment effects and creates opportunities and threats for the business disciplines (e.g. management, marketing, finance and accounting, supply chain).
  4. Graduates will recognize ways to take advantage of opportunities and recognize threats in a global environment and prove global competencies through experiential learning and the development of an international business network.
  5. Gain proficiency in a second language at the intermediate level or higher.

Entrepreneurship Management BBA

  1. Graduates will achieve COBE common core goals.
  2. Graduates will develop an entrepreneurial orientation that emphasizes opportunity recognition, creativity, innovation, risk, assessment, business feasibility, financial understanding, leadership, and team work that can be utilized in all organizations regardless of size, structure, or ownership.
  3. Graduates will demonstrate an understanding of current entrepreneurship models and frameworks such as Design Thinking, Lean Launch, Agile Engineering, Business Model Canvas, and others. In addition, they will demonstrate an understanding of business and strategy components, such as management, marketing, operations, finance, legal, and human resources, and how these functions come together within new venture, whether it is a startup or established organization.
  4. Graduates will demonstrate their understanding of the business startup process and be able to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, their ideas and plans for turning ideas into successful commercial ventures.

Business Administration BBA

  1. Demonstrates an understanding of the fundamental business disciplines, including accounting, finance, management, marketing, and operations management.
  2. Demonstrates knowledge of the social and economic contexts within which businesses operate. Understands that this context is global, demonstrating appreciation of practices and perspectives associated with other countries and cultures.
  3. Identifies business and employment legal issues and assesses the legality of possible solutions.
  4. Identifies ethical issues and demonstrates sound reasoning in assessing the ethical implications of possible solutions.
  5. Effectively communicates ideas, observations, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations to others in a variety of professional contexts.
  6. Identifies employee-related issues, and appropriate managerial practices for dealing with these issues.
  7. Identifies and analyzes problems, creatively generates alternatives, and formulates a sound plan for implementation. This includes the ability to deal effectively with relatively unstructured situations, as well as the ability to integrate and synthesize different business disciplines to solve business challenges.
  8. Demonstrates knowledge of forming and building an effective problem-solving team, facilitating team problem-solving, and exercising leadership and interpersonal skills.

  3. Responsible Business Practices: Engage in ethical decision-making aligned with sustainable and socially responsible business practices, incorporating a knowledge of diverse cultural norms and legal environments.
