I am a freshman at Boise State with an interest in pursuing nursing as a career, through the College of Health Sciences.
I’ve been a part of the access services team for a little over 2 months and I’ve enjoyed working with, and learning from, my peers and mentors. I am from the beautiful tropical island of Rota, CNMI – a little slice of paradise that shaped the person I am today.
I love free-diving, spending time in nature, and making connections with others. My family has always been my source of inspiration, continuously motivating me to achieve my dreams.
Admittedly, being so far away from home can be challenging, but working at the library has allowed me to develop a sense of community which has been invaluable to me thus far. While I do miss the crystal clear water and sparkling white sand, I’m excited to see where this next chapter of my life takes me!
