Updates to Library Services

The Albertsons Library has finalized some in-building and service details to its Access Services department to better serve campus:

  • Building Access: Bronco Cards are still required for entering the building. Visitors should schedule appointments at least 24 weekday hours in advance through refdesk@boisestate.edu. The Library is open Sunday-Friday, 8:00am-10:00pm. Study rooms can be reserved by Boise State students and employees.
  • Reserve Materials: Reserves are being handled the same as in fall 2020 when the library suspended short-term circulation of all print course reserve materials including textbooks, study guides and literature. To maintain access to these materials, both faculty and students should submit electronic requests for scanned portions of texts or articles for digital delivery by using the electronic course reserves form. These requests take 24-48 weekday hours for processing.
  • Item Holds/Requests: Books and other requested print materials as well as print interlibrary loan items will be available for curbside pickup or in-person at the Library. Materials will not be sent through campus mail this semester. When their requested items are available, borrowers will receive an email with pickup instructions.
