Materials Reconsideration Form

Albertsons’ Collection Development Principles and Policy includes information on how reconsideration requests can be submitted for specific materials. If you wish to request reconsideration of a resource, please complete the following form. An acknowledgment of your request will be emailed to you within 5 business days. Please note, when an item is reviewed for reconsideration, the following principles are adhered to:

Use procedures that are transparent and objective when reviewing materials
Support the purpose of the Library’s collection as outlined in the Albertsons Library’s Collection Development Principles and Policy.
Work to provide materials and information presenting multiple points of view on current and historical issues.
Avoid proscribing or removing an item due to partisan or doctrinal disapproval.
