RANGE is a part of Improving Rural Middle Grades Mathematics Instruction through a Statewide Teacher-Researcher Alliance, a $2.7 million collaborative research project between Boise State and University of Idaho sponsored by the National Science Foundation (Award # 23000532). RANGE will work with 90 rural teachers in Idaho to improve grades 6-8 mathematics teaching through high quality job-embedded teacher professional development (PD).
Project Goals
- Implement high quality professional development with a large number of mathematics teachers in rural settings.
- Catalyze implementation of research-based instructional practices in rural grades 6-8 mathematics classrooms.
