POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our Multimedia and Visual Design team creates content and materials that tell the story and reflect the identity of the department through print, the website, and social media. This position requires you to think creatively, work both independently and collaboratively, be innovative, and work with minimal supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of visual identity management
- Strong multi-media production and editing skills
- Experience creating one or more of the following:
- digital content such as audio, video, and animations
- graphic content such as flyers, posters, infographics, and presentations
- web content such as banners, images, and design
- Experience with building and maintaining image archives
- Familiar with programs and platforms necessary to complete design work, such as the Adobe Design Suite and video editing tools
- Familiar with marketing and messaging strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to coordinate with others to complete comprehensive projects
- Familiar with collaboration tools (eg. Google applications, Trello)
DUTIES:
- Supports the efforts to develop and maintain the department’s visual identity
- Creates promotional materials intended for incoming and current students, program alumni, program faculty, and the community
- Work collaboratively to develop and maintain visual standards for the program that align with Boise State University brand standards
- Manages the image gallery and ensures consistent tagging, labeling, and image quality
- Create components of digital and print informational campaigns
- Create content for the website and social media
- Create promotional materials and presentations
