Woodwind Day 2026
Boise State Music is thrilled to offer a new workshop for woodwind players in grades 6-12. Events include a concluding student concert, masterclasses and instrument choirs with a focus on performance and practice tips and tricks.
This unique opportunity provides a full day of camaraderie and musical growth, where players at all levels can come together to refine their knowledge of technique, repertoire and more.

Woodwind Day is open to all woodwind students in grades 6-12
The $40 registration fee includes a commemorative T-shirt. If you register after January 16, 2026 we cannot guarantee a specific t-shirt size. Lunch is available to purchase for an additional $12, or students can bring their own. University dining facilities will not be available and students are required to stay on the Morrison Center premises during lunch. Additional info on where and how to pay is in the final section of the registration form.

- 8:30-9:00am – Check-in
- 9:00-10:00am – Welcome/Faculty Performance
- 10:00-11:00am – Instrument Fundamentals
- 11:00-12:00pm – Instrumental Choir/Ensemble Rehearsals
- 12:00-12:45pm – Lunch (pre-purchase or bring your own)
- 12:45-1:30pm – Vendor Booths

- 1:30-2:30pm – Instrumental Choir/Ensemble Rehearsals
- 2:30-3:00pm – Q&A with Boise State Music Students
- 3:00-3:30pm – Boise State Student Performances
- 3:30-4:00pm – Instrumental Choir/Ensemble Warm-up
- 4:00pm – Final Concert (open to the public)
