About Us

The Boise State Percussion Studio strives to provide a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment for all students to learn and grow at their highest potential. We are happy to facilitate a meeting/tour of campus (either virtually or in-person). Opportunities to attend a class or rehearsal to see what a day in the life is like for a Boise State Percussionist can be set up with advance notice. Additionally, Dr. Milan offers a free lesson to any prospective student. Our students have a wealth of opportunities to begin pursuing professional work in many different percussive disciplines. Percussion studio members regularly gain valuable experience by teaching at local high school programs (both drumline and private lesson teaching) and gaining repair/maintenance skills with our instrument collection!
