Ross Burkhart, professor of political science, gave a presentation on “Teaching Canadian Politics to Americans and Canadian Studies Students” at the annual general meeting of the Pacific Northwest Canadian Studies Consortium in Seattle on Feb. 1. Burkhart is executive director of the consortium, which consists of approximately 20 campuses, governments and nonprofit organizations, and has a mission of promoting the study of Canada in the academic world and greater Pacific Northwest community.
