Montana: The Magazine of Western History has chosen graduate student Greg LeDonne’s paper as the winner of its Emerging Scholars Contest.
The magazine will publish LeDonne’s paper, “Western Neoliberalism: Neoliberal Rhetoric in the Battle between Old West and New West.” LeDonne will receive free registration, travel, and accommodations to present his work at the 2021 Montana History Conference in September.
LeDonne, who grew up in Gastonia, North Carolina, is completing his master’s degree in history and plans to pursue a Ph.D. LeDonne has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Yale and a law degree from Harvard.
