Reminders about summer orientations on campus

This summer, the New Student Transition and Family Connections Department will host more than 3,000 students and their families on campus for new student orientation. The orientation team invites the entire campus community to join in providing a warm welcome when students visit their offices by making sure spaces are inviting, well-staffed and display a Bronco helping spirit.

Two-Day Programs

In June, July and August, eight two-day programs will host traditional students coming straight from high school. A ninth program may be held in August if demand warrants.

Peak times during 2-day programs

On day one, from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., students and their guests will be free to explore and visit offices throughout campus. Offices expected to receive a high volume of students should consider staffing plans adequate to process guests with minimal wait times.

On day two, the program will conclude at 1:30 p.m., leaving students time in the afternoon to complete administrative tasks and explore campus.

Half-Day Programs

Three half-day programs will be offered throughout the summer for transfer and non-traditional students.

Peak times during half-day programs

These programs start at 12:35 p.m. Students and their guests may arrive before programs begin to take care of their checklist, or do this after programs conclude at 4:15 p.m.
