The Boise State Department of Public Safety has worked with campus partners to provide the Boise Police Department’s Special Operations Unit with a training opportunity on university-owned property. The planned training venue is the vacant residential buildings located on W. Yale Court, west of the Honors College and south of University Drive.
The training session is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18.
The training location will look like an active police scene involving several police vehicles and numerous officers wearing tactical gear.
