Allie Ostrander Becomes a Three-Peat National Champ

On June 8, Boise State redshirt junior Allie Ostrander made NCAA history by becoming the first female track athlete to win three consecutive steeplechase national titles. She rounded out her incredible 3,000-meter steeplechase win on Saturday in Austin, Texas, with a personal best time of 9:37.73.

Ostrander is only the 15th female athlete to ever win three straight national titles in an event, and Boise State’s first athlete to win three national titles.
