Student researchers from the Vertically Integrated Projects program, commonly known as VIP, will present their research in a virtual format from 4 to 6 p.m. on Dec. 2. The VIP program consists of student teams working alongside faculty mentors on ambitious, multi-semester projects. The showcase celebrates team achievements that cross disciplines, integrate diverse skill sets and contribute to the community.

Register now for an inspiring two-hour event featuring student-produced videos, lightning talks, and virtual “walk-up” poster discussions. Visit the VIP showcase event site.

“The VIP program throws open the doors for all students to engage in leading-edge research in a collaborative team environment. It’s an amazing opportunity for students to get started learning the research process and finish up with real-world, job-ready skills. The Showcase is a wonderful chance to see these student teams in action as they discuss their team projects,” said Donna Llewellyn, executive director of the Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship

The VIP program has 29 active projects open to students who would like to join a research team and earn one to two credits each semester. Check out the full list of projects at the VIP web site.
