Nursing Adjunct Inquiry /Application

Please review our adjunct nursing faculty descriptions, responsibilities, and qualifications. Once you reviewed the qualifications you can complete the Adjunct Application Form to submit application material for consideration as an Adjunct Instructor with the School of Nursing.

Teaching opportunities may become available throughout the academic year. Applications will be reviewed when openings occur, with no guarantees of being chosen to support the School of Nursing’s academic needs.

Adjunct Faculty may not teach more than 11 credits per term and are limited to working less than 75% of a full-time employment workload (per University Policy 4220).

From the search panel select “Faculty” under work type, and then enter “Nursing” as your key word. Online Faculty Positions (RN-BS, AGNP, or DNP in Leadership)

The RN-BS (bachelor’s completion) program seeks candidates who have taught a minimum of two online courses (and can share student course evaluations) and who are familiar with the Canvas LMS. For consideration, please submit your resume or curriculum vitae, including copies of online teaching evaluations.

Preceptor for Nurse Practitioner Clinicals

Opportunities are available for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians to serve as preceptors to students in the Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner master’s degree and graduate certificate programs. Preceptors have the opportunity to give back to the profession, to earn continuing education credit, and to become Boise State affiliate faculty members.
