Core 480 Cyber Capstone

Apply what you learn in class out in the field.

Boise State’s online Bachelor of Science in Cyber Operations and Resilience (uCORe) culminates in CORE 480 Cyber Capstone, a three-credit course where students apply their skills to real-world projects. The course not only benefits students but also Idaho’s rural communities, water districts, school districts and nonprofits, which receive free cybersecurity enhancements.

By partnering with Idaho organizations, students gain valuable project management experience while helping strengthen critical systems, making a meaningful impact before graduation.

Hands-On Learning for Real-World Impact

Hear from graduate Marissa Wilson as she shares her experience in the capstone course.

“No matter where I go in my career, I’m going to be able to find the answers.”
Closed captions and a video transcript are available.
